Ciocomiti was born in the enchanting heart of the Brenta Dolomites: a place where local tradition and craftsmanship blend with natural simplicity. Each creation takes shape from a few select ingredients, slow gestures, and advanced technologies that respect the raw materials.
The result is a chocolate that embodies the essence of our mountains: authentic, intense, deeply rooted in its place of origin. Each taste is a unique sensory journey, an echo of Trentino that resonates on the palate.

2015
Between cocoa and mountains
Ciocomiti was born from the intuition of Matteo Fedrizzi, who grew up surrounded by the sweet aromas of his family's gelato shop. In a small workshop in Croviana, surrounded by artisanal tools and his first experiments with tempering, Matteo began to imagine something new: uniting the world of chocolate with the soul of the Dolomites.

2016
The first landing at altitude
It's time for a crucial step: the acquisition of the historic La Casa del Cioccolato store in Madonna di Campiglio, which will become our Alpine hub. A meeting point for travelers, skiers, and the curious, a key milestone in our long journey.

2018
The leap towards excellence
The company grows, and so does its ambition. New spaces are renovated and the production process is changed: from chocolate processing to bean-to-bar production, starting directly from the cocoa beans. The first studies on high-altitude maturation begin, a unique method that will become the most distinctive feature of our chocolate.

2020
Higher and higher
Another key piece is added: Baita Ciocomiti - Malga Vigo, a refuge nestled in the Dolomites. Here, our chocolate meets mountain cuisine, giving rise to starlit dinners, new rituals, and endless stories that connect guests and local flavors.

2023-2024
New spaces, new peaks
Growth brings further openings: new direct sales outlets (Passo del Tonale and Ortisei in Val Gardena) and a new factory in Dimaro-Folgarida, three times larger than the previous one. A space designed to accommodate expansion without losing what makes us unique: the artisanal care of a mountain workshop.

2025
The rise continues
The first Ciocomiti Café is born, a space where chocolate becomes a daily gesture.
The educational-experiential tour project has also begun, taking visitors on a true journey through the tastes of the world of cocoa.

Today
Towards new horizons
Ciocomiti is now a rapidly evolving company, supported by investors, an ever-expanding retail network, and a clear vision: to bring to the world a high-altitude chocolate made as it once was, by skilled artisans and the pure air of the Dolomites.

Sustainability

For us, sustainability means first and foremost a short supply chain, minimal unnecessary raw materials, and technologies that respect ingredients and the environment.
We select cocoa from sustainable plantations and fair trade practices, honoring those who grow and protect this extraordinary fruit.
We're experimenting with ways to give new life to cocoa bean husks (from packaging to cosmetics) and creating spaces dedicated to chocolate culture, where we can share a more conscious approach.
For Ciocomiti, innovation means combining research, design, and responsibility in a simple and coherent gesture. Our goal is to build a true ecosystem around chocolate: experiential programs, academies, and circular economy projects that valorize every resource.
